LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — A small plastic wrapper and a crushed blue pill were the key signs that a Laurel woman, found passed out in her vehicle near a cemetery, could be under the influence.

Such was the determination made by Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputy Greg Turner when he found 57-year-old Henrietta Brown asleep in her white Chevrolet Impala on Moriah Church Road around 5 p.m. Sunday evening. Police saw blue colored powder found around her nostrils. Brown admitted she had snorted Hydrocodone.

Brown, who lists an address of Riverside Loop in Lily, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, first offense, and third-degree possession of a controlled substance. She was taken to Laurel County Detention Center.
