Two arrests following drug investigation

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —

Laurel County Sheriff’s Detective Jason Back along with Detective James Sizemore, Sgt. Brett Reeves and Deputy Shawn Boroviak arrested two subjects in London early Wednesday, March 12 at 4:30 a.m. The arrests were the result of an investigation conducted by deputies following a complaint of suspected drug activity.

Arrested in the limits of  London, just off  Ky. 192, was Samantha King, 26, of Morris Creek, Four Mile, Ky., who was charged with prescription controlled substances not in proper container first offense. She was found in possession of 160 Methocarbamol pills in a plastic sandwich bag. Also arrested was Amanda Cox, 25, of Click Hill Road, London, who was charged on a Clay County bench warrant of arrest for failure to appear in court. Both subjects were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
