Man arrested for domestic violence

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — An argument between a couple evolved into a physical fight which sent the man to jail for fourth-degree assault on Tuesday evening.

The call came around 6 p.m. and when Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputy Robbie Grimes, Senior Sgt. Greg Poynter and Deputy Larry Parrott arrived at the scene on Ky. 909, nine miles north of London, they learned that the male had pushed the female down, causing minor injuries to her.

Jeremy D. Saylor, 28, of the 909 Camping Area in northern East Bernstadt, was arrested and charged with assault. He was taken to the Laurel Detention Center following his arrest.
