North Laurel man arrested for assault

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputy Josh Scott was called out to a domestic violence complaint on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. on Slate Lick Road, three miles north of London. Upon arrival at the scene, deputies learned Ronnie D. Ratliff, 40, of Slate Lick Road, London, had assaulted his minor child, causing possible injury to her chest.

Ratliff was charged with fourth-degree assault and lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.

Deputy Steve Hoskins assisted on the complaint and arrest.
