Shoplifter arrested at Walmart

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —

While the crowds swarmed area stores in search  of special deals, a Pine Knot woman’s plan was foiled when she was arrested for shoplifting.

Bobbi L. Worley, 22, reportedly stuffed several items of clothing into her purse, then put on several shirts and a jacket and attempted to leave the Corbin Walmart store around 12:50 p.m. Saturday.

But her scheme backfired when she was detained by members of the Loss Prevention Team until Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputy Kevin Berry arrived and placed her under arrest for theft by unlawful taking - shoplifting. She was taken to the Laurel County Detention Center.
