DUI driver arrested during traffic stop


Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputy Shawn Boroviak arrested Lora Youngblood, 22, of High Top Road, Corbin, early Sunday, April 13 at 12:35 a.m. The arrest occurred on Main Street in London after deputies observed a blue Nissan Versa without headlights on, and conducted a traffic stop.

A roadside investigation determined the driver was under the influence. Lora Youngblood was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence, failure to illuminate headlamps, failure to wear seat belts, and other traffic violations. She told deputies she had injected methamphetamine earlier during the day.

Youngblood was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
