Two arrested on out-of-county warrants

Two people facing charges in other counties were picked up early Monday morning, April 28.

Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputies Mikey Ashurst and Tyler Morris made the arrests at 12:55 a.m. on Dees Road, seven miles south of London, after 56-year-old Glennis Sanders of Swan Lake Road in Barbourville was charged with a Whitley County warrant.

There with him was 36-year-old Ruth Howard of Dees Road in London, who was wanted on a Whitley County bench warrant and a Knox County bench warrant, both for failure to appear in court. She had a third warrant for arrest as well. Both were lodged in the Laurel County jail.
