LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
A Laurel man was arrested Monday, Dec. 17 after Laurel County Sheriff’s deputies spotted him committing numerous traffic violations on West Laurel Road.
Robert D. Goodin, 24, of Ben Bailey Road, London, was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence. He was also wanted on outstanding charges in court, and was charged with theft by unlawful taking-gasoline, under $500.
Deputies Kirk Mays and Greg Turner arrested Goodin for a DUI following a traffic stop, one mile west of London, at 3:24 p.m. According to the sheriff’s report, Goodin committed numerous traffic violations, including reckless driving, failure to signal, operating on a suspended or revoked license, failure to maintain insurance, giving an officer a false name or address, and other traffic charges.
Goodin was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
