Police seeking owner of stolen ATV

Dustin W. Lovett arrested

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — The discovery of a stolen ATV sent a London man to jail and police seeking the owner.

Laurel Sheriff’s Deputy Greg Turner and Sgt. Josh Gaylor went to Riveria Lane, two miles west of London around 2:30 p.m. Thursday after complaints that a man was riding an ATV on other people’s property.

The ATV, a 2006 white Yamaha Raptor 700 cc, was found behind a residence. When deputies questioned the man at the residence--Dustin W. Lovett--who said he said he did not know who the ATV belonged to, but that he was just riding it around. Lovett was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property and public intoxication of a controlled substance.
