Lily woman arrested on bench warrant

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —

A Lily woman wanted in Fayette County was taken into custody Friday around 6:30 p.m.

Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputy Daniel Grigsby arrested 21-year-old Melissa Smith on Kay Lane, five miles south of London, for a bench warrant for failing to appear in court in Fayette County. She was lodged in the Laurel Detention Center following her arrest.
