Corbin man arrested for trespassing at girlfriend’s mother’s home

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputy Robbie Grimes responded to a complaint that Steven L. Gross, 23, of Highway 1223E in Corbin was at his girlfriend’s mother’s residence causing a disturbance.

Earlier, on Wednesday night,   Gross had been involved in a domestic violence complaint. He had left the scene before deputies arrived, and was told by the girlfriend’s mother to not return to their house. When deputies arrived to the residence a second time, Gross was discovered on the property and was arrested.

He was charged with second-degree criminal trespassing, and lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.

Deputy Greg Turner and Deputy Steve Hoskins assisted on the arrest.
