Three arrested for meth making

Children removed from home

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Laurel County Sheriff’s Detective Brad Mitchell is conducting a drug investigation into the discovery of components used to manufacture methamphetamine at a residence on Moriah Church Road, five miles west of  London, Wednesday at 5:13 p.m.

Arrested were Alex Hoskins, 47; Brian K. Lewis, 33; and Jeanie S. Lewis, 28; all of Moriah Church Road. The three are charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, first offense, and lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.

Senior Sgt. Greg Poynter, along with Deputies Greg Turner, Robbie Grimes, and Steve Hoskins, received information about individuals in the process of manufacturing methamphetamine on Moriah Church Road. When deputies arrived, they located numerous components used in the manufacture of methamphetamine inside the residence.

Social Services was called to the scene, and two minor children were removed from the residence.
