LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
Colleen Whitaker, 46 of 135 Betty Jane Apartments, No. 31, in London, was arrested for public intoxication Wednesday when she was found sitting in the middle of Ky. 192 around midnight.
London City Police received a complaint from drivers passing by and found Whitaker sitting in the middle of the roadway, wearing all black.
When Officers Richard Reynolds came upon Whitaker, she had moved to the shoulder of the roadway. Officer Reynolds smelled alcohol on her breath and administered a sobriety test. She failed the test and was immediately arrested. She was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
