Man arrested for failure to comply with sex offender registration

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — On May 2, the London Police Department transported Eddie L. Wombles from Manchester to the Laurel County Detention Center on charges filed in Laurel County by Detective Joe Smith.  Wombles failed to comply with the sex offender registration. He was also charged with being a persistent felony offender.

 Wombles was also wanted for failure to appear for arraignment on April 17.  He is being held in the Laurel County Detention Center without bond.

Wombles is currently listed as a non-compliant sex offender on the Kentucky State Police Sex Offender Registry.
