Argument leads to arrest

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — An argument, a broken window, and an arrest.

Those were the factors that landed 30-year-old Layton McQueen of Sowder Lane in London in jail after an incident on U.S. 25, five miles south of London, on Tuesday night.

Sowder reportedly was involved in an argument with a property owner when he allegedly broke a window after he was asked to leave. When Laurel County Sheriff’s Senior Sgt. Greg Poynter arrived on the scene, he discovered some marijuana on McQueen. He was also charged with second-degree disorderly conduct and third-degree criminal mischief.
