Stolen police trailer results in three indictments

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Not even the police are exempt from thefts.

In two separate indictments, three persons were charged with stealing a utility trailer belonging to the London Police Department within two days.

Kameron Madon, 22, and 52-year-old Wilbern Madon Jr., both of 470 Hwy. 2425 in London, are charged with theft by unlawful taking over $500 but less than $10,00 for allegedly taking a utility trailer without authorization on Feb. 26.

Just two days later, Charlie W. Tucker, age 23, of 987 Whetstone Road in Rockhold, is charged with stealing a utility trailer belonging to the London Police Department.

An indictment is an accusation only and does not imply guilt or innocence.
