Corbin man arrested for prescription drugs

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — A traffic stop along Interstate 75 near the northbound weigh station on Wednesday night resulted in the arrest of a Corbin man.

According to a press release from the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office, Deputy Greg Turner made the stop on a vehicle traveling along I-75, four miles south of London.

The driver of the vehicle, 26-year-old Jeremy S. Stidham, of Moore Hill Avenue in Corbin, was determined to be under the influence and had Xanax pills but did not have a prescription for them.

He was charged with third-degree possession of a controlled substance and lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
