Man arrested for alcohol intoxication

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —

Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputy Larry Parrott along with Senior Sgt. Greg Poynter and Deputy Daniel Grigsby arrested Daniel Morgan, 24, of Keavy Road, London, on Monday, March 10 at  9:49 p.m.

The arrest occurred two miles south of London after deputies were dispatched to a complaint of an intoxicated subject at a residence causing persons at that residence to feel threatened. When deputies arrived, they determined the subject was under the influence and a threat. Following a short scuffle with the subject he was taken into custody.

Morgan was charged with alcohol intoxication and resisting arrest. In addition he was charged on two Whitley County bench warrants of arrest for failure to appear in court. He was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
