Multiple DUI arrests over weekend

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —

The arrest occurred on U.S. 25, nine miles south of London, where this subject was a passenger in a vehicle where the driver was arrested for DUI. Deputies detected an odor of alcoholic beverages on the passenger and conducted an investigation where it was determined that he was under the influence.

Deputies Tyler Morris and Mikey Ashurst, assisted by KSP Trooper Jason McCowan, arrested Kendall Osborne, 39, of West Ky. 1376, East Bernstadt.  Osborne was charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place and possession of open alcoholic beverage container in motor vehicle prohibited. An open bottle of Fireball whiskey was found in the floorboard under Osborne’s feet. He was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
