Woman arrested after family dispute

Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputy Kevin Berry arrested Jennifer House, 51, of Johnson Road, London, on Sunday, March 23 at 9:54 a.m.

The arrest occurred on Johnson Road, approximately nine miles north of London, after Deputy Berry was dispatched to a domestic violence complaint. Upon arrival at the scene, Berry was met by a belligerent female, later identified as House. Deputy Berry conducted an investigation and learned she had allegedly struck her sister-in-law following an argument that occurred between House, her husband, her daughter and her sister-in-law. Allegedly, the daughter had been chased out of the residence by her mother.

Deputy Berry noted a strong smell of alcohol emitting from the suspect. House was charged with fourth-degree assault-domestic violence and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
