Female reportedly assaults man


Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputy Robbie Grimes was dispatched by Laurel Dispatch 9-1-1 to a possible domestic violence complaint on Sasser Road, 10 miles east of London on Thursday, Aug. 22  at about 6:30 p.m.

When deputies arrived at the scene, they learned a female had smacked a male subject at the residence sometime during a verbal argument.

Melissa Mills, 34, of Sasser Road, London was arrested and charged with fourth-degree assault - domestic violence, and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
