Droopy’s Market robbers sought


Police are seeking information on two persons who robbed a store at gunpoint on Sunday night.

The scene of the crime was Droopy’s Market on Ky. 1006, two miles south of London.

Information in the case indicates two males dressed in camouflage clothes and wearing masks entered the store around 9 p.m. The two men then sprayed the lone male clerk on duty with pepper spray and robbed the store of an undisclosed amount of money. They then fled the scene.

The incident is being investigated by Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputy Larry Parrott. He was assisted by Constable Tim May and the investigation is being continued by Detective Tommy Johnston.
