LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputy Larry Parrott was dispatched by Laurel 9-1-1 to a complaint of a white Isuzu Rodeo driving extremely recklessly on Ky. 363 south of London on Monday, Nov. 4 at 3:18 p.m.
At some point, the suspect's vehicle apparently crashed into a yard, five miles south of London, on Ky. 363 and, according to witnesses, the driver tried to flee the scene. Citizens passing by were able to keep the suspect from fleeing the scene until Deputy Parrott arrived to investigate.
Dale Frary, 45, of Slate Lick Church Road, London was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence; operating on suspended or revoked operator’s license; reckless driving; no insurance; and second-degree disorderly conduct.
Frary stated he had taken prescription medications and was drinking earlier. Frary was both uncooperative and belligerent with Deputy Parrott as he investigated.
He was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
