LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputy Robbie Grimes, along with members of the Kentucky State Police, investigated a complaint received by Laurel 9-1-1 dispatch that a male subject had allegedly called and threatened to kill his ex-wife and her son on Slate Lick Road, four miles north of London, on Saturday, Sept. 7 at around 8:28 p.m.
Carl P. Stacy, 50, of Star Hill Road, East Bernstadt, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence; driving on a DUI suspended license, second offense; no insurance; second-degree terroristic threatening; and second-degree criminal trespassing.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found Stacy sitting in his vehicle at his ex-wife's residence, and learned he had driven over from his residence. After an investigation at the scene, officers determined Stacy was under the influence.
He was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
