LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
A Laurel woman was arrested Thursday morning for allegedly having sexual intercourse with a minor last summer.
Amy Bays Price, 29, of London Dock Road, is charged with second-degree rape of a minor on July 1. The charge listed in the press release from the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office stated the child was “mentally incapacitated by intoxicants” when the incident occurred.
Price was named in an “indictment by information” by a Laurel grand jury last month. Detective Jason Back and a Deputy U.S. Marshal arrested Price around 10 a.m. Thursday.
She was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center and is held under a $10,000 cash bond.
