LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
In spite of snow and hazardous traveling conditions throughout the county last weekend, Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputy Josh Scott braved Friday’s snow to answer a complaint of domestic violence on Maple Grove School Road.
Scott went to the residence, approximately five miles south of London, where he found 47-year-old Lisa A. Roark of Fariston Road and 54-year-old Richard H. Lentz of Maple Grove School Road. The two had reportedly been fighting one another when police were called to the scene. Deputy Scott charged both Roark and Lentz with fourth-degree assault, domestic violence. Roark was also charged with a bench warrant from Laurel District Court for a prior charge of alcohol intoxication in a public place.
