Nov. 15 - Pinocchio, a children's operatic performance, at the library

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — A one act children’s operatic version of the story of Pinocchio will be presented by the Schmidt Opera Outreach Program (SOOP) at the Laurel County Public Library on Thursday, Nov. 15 at 6 p.m. The program is further supported by the UK Opera Theatre and the Lexington Opera Society.

The performance is designed to help children understand the importance of telling the truth … always. Telling the truth is a virtue that every child should embrace.

The program is free and open to the public.

Registration is appreciated for planning purposes. Register online at www.laurellibrary.org or call Gwen at 606-864-5759.
