LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
The Laurel-London Optimist Club’s Halloween party will be Wednesday, Oct. 31, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Optimist Center off west Ky. 80.
Everything is free, but please bring a non-perishable item, such as canned food, for a needy family project.
There will be a costume contest with the first-place winner receiving a $50 gift certificate, the second-place winner receiving a $25 certificate, and the third-place winner receiving a $15 certificate.
Four bicycles will be given away — a boy’s bicycle and a girl’s bicycle for ages 4-7 and a boy’s bicycle and a girl’s bicycle for ages 8-12. Children must be present to win.
There will be games and prizes, and hot dogs, pizza, popcorn, and drinks.
Children from infant to 12 years will be given a treat bag upon leaving the party.
