LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
If Santa brought you a new digital camera for Christmas but you’re not sure how to use it, the Laurel County Public Library is offering a free beginners photography workshop on Saturday, Jan. 12 from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Brent Mershon will teach you how to turn your camera on, how to put in and remove the memory card, how to move photos from your camera to your computer, and more.
Please note that this class is really for absolute beginners. If you have any experience at all with digital photography, please leave these spots open and wait for another class for more experienced phtographers.
Bring your camera, any attachments, and your instruction booklet.
A short break will be given so feel free to bring a snack or brown bag lunch if you want. A refrigerator and microwave are available for your use.
Class size is limited and the workshop is appropriate for age 14 and older.
Registration required.
In case of bad weather, please check Facebook or call the library at 864-5759 for cancellation information.
The library is located off the Ky. 192 bypass in London.
