Nov. 9 - Christmas shows begin at Renfro Valley

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — It’s that time of year again! Christmas in Renfro Valley kicks off this weekend with Larry Gatlin and the Gatlin Brothers Christmas Show in the New Barn Theater, Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m.

Fans should be ready for familiar holiday hits of the season including “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year” and “I’ll Be Home For Christmas.”  

The Roarks, a country-gospel group, will begin their holiday show, “A Country Gospel Christmas with the Roarks,” this weekend as well. The group will be performing every weekend from November 9 to December 22 in the Old Barn Theater.

Perhaps the most exciting event going on in Renfro Valley this Christmas season is the annual original stage production written by entertainment director, Mark Laws, and performed by the Renfro Valley entertainers.  

The show’s theme is “A Christmas Guest,” containing a combination of Christmas music, comedy and a unique story line, guaranteed to fill you with the holiday spirit!  Make your holiday special by celebrating with Christmas in the Valley any weekend from November 16th through December 22nd in the New Barn Theater!

Christmas in the Valley Production — Nov. 16 to Dec. 22. Thursday shows begin December 1, at 7 p.m.; Friday show, 7 p.m.; Saturday show at 7 p.m.; Saturday matinee shows begin Dec. 3, 7 p.m.

Old Barn Theater —

A Country Gospel Christmas With the Roarks —  November 9 to  December 22. Friday’s at  7 p.m.; Saturday    shows, 7 p.m. with matinee at 3 p.m.

There will be no shows on Saturday, Nov. 24.

Renfro Valley Entertainment Center is known as “Kentucky’s Country Music Capital!”
