LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
The annual London-Laurel County Chamber of Commerce Banquet is set for Tuesday, March 5.
The event promises an evening of fun and celebration that honors 2013 Teachers of the Year from the elementary, middle and high school levels, as well as business and individual volunteers of the year. Comedian Marc Klien will be the night’s entertainment.
Deanna Herrmann, executive director, said tickets are still available for the event, which will be held at the London Community Center. Tickets are $25 per person and can be reserved by calling the Chamber office at 864-4789.
Herrmann said items are still needed for the silent auction. Anyone wishing to donate items should contact the Chamber office as soon as possible. Donations are asked to be a minimum of $50 in value.
