LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has scheduled a public information meeting for the proposed roundabout-type intersection upgrade at Ky. 363 and Ky. 1006 in Laurel County.
The meeting will be held on November 15 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Cumberland Valley Area Development District headquarters at 342 Old Whitley Road. The meeting will be conducted in an open format, meaning that interested parties may attend at any point in the meeting’s duration.
The proposed project will reconstruct the Ky. 363 and Ky. 1006 intersection in the Sublimity community. The purpose of the meeting is to show right-of-way plans to affected property owners and to introduce the roundabout-type intersection to the members of the driving public who may not be familiar with it.
Jonathan Dobson, public affairs officer for the Kentucky Department of Transportation in Manchester, said anyone having an interest in this project is urged to attend this meeting.
