LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
Wild Goose Chase Theater will present a show at the Laurel County Public Library featuring puppets, poets, and pandemonium on Tuesday, Sept. 18 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
In “A Wild Goose Chase!” Nashville puppeteer Matt Sandbank takes the audience to a world filled with dancing pants, mischievous spaceships, and many more whimsical images. Poetry springs hilariously to life as soon as Sandbank’s handmade, expressive shadow puppets hit the screen.
Sandbank has a degree in creative writing from the University of North Carolina at Asheville and is a member of the Puppeteers of America.
Come for a fun evening dedicated to using puppets to promote literacy, the power of words and, most importantly, the imagination.
The program is free and open to the public.
Registration is appreciated for planning purposes. Register online at www.laurellibrary.org or call Gwen at 606-864-5759.
The library is located just off the Ky. 192 bypass in London.
