LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
The Laurel County Public Library will begin the year featuring a new health information series entitled, “What’s Up Doc?” Each program of the series will focus on a specific health issue and will feature an area health professional.
Do you have unexplained aches and pains in your hands, knees, wrists or feet? Have you wondered if it is arthritis? On Thursday, Jan. 17 from 6-7:30 p.m., the first program will be devoted to the issue of arthritis.
Dr. Amjab Ali, director of the Hospitalist Program at Saint Joseph London, and Ruth Ellen, certified instructor with the Arthritis Foundation’s Exercise Program for Better Living, are the guest presenters.
Registration is appreciated for planning purposes. Register online at www.laurellibrary.org or call Gwen at 606-864-5759.
