LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
Veteran performer Matthew Gurnsey delights audiences with his rousing performances of traditional Irish and Scottish music. He will be appearing at the Laurel County Public Library on Tuesday, Nov. 27 from 6-7 p.m.
His unique talents with traditional Celtic instruments such as the concertina, bodhran, bones and mandolin, add an air of authenticity to each piece and his stirringly rich bass voice provides the foundation for the hauntingly beautiful melodies.
Matthew formerly was part of the Celtic duo called The Muses who have previously played at the library.
Registration is appreciated for planning purposes. Register online at www.laurellibrary.org or call Gwen at 606-864-5759.
The library is located off the Ky. 192 bypass in London.
