With temperatures in the upper 80s Wednesday afternoon, visitors flocked to cool off in the pool at Levi Jackson Wilderness Road Park.
Temperature steadily reached the mid-80s last week with high humidity levels, finally peaking Saturday and Sunday with temperatures in the 90s and oppressive humidity.
Temperatures and humidity levels became more moderate Monday.
The pool is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Adult prices are $5, children 12 and under $4, and children 2 and younger are admitted free.
