Four to be sentenced on meth charges



• Michael Maynes, 41, of Rt. 225 in Barbourville, is set for sentencing Friday on flagrant non-support. He was recommended to serve five years, diverted for five years, for failing to pay regular child support on his three children from Jan. 14, 2009 through Sept. 2013. Maynes was indicted in September on the charge, with bond set at $7,500 cash. His bond was reduced to $5,000 surety, and he will now pay an extra $100 per month on his arrearages of $20,107.
