LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
Intoxication is credited for an early Saturday morning accident that damaged two vehicles and sent a Laurel man to jail.
A press release from the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office states Deputy John Inman arrested 22-year-old William C. Nolan of Robinson Creek Road around 6 a.m. Saturday after Nolan crashed his black Dodge Ram pickup truck into a parked car.
The accident occurred on Maple Grove School Road, five miles south of London, when Nolan hit the parked 1991 Buick Park Avenue in the rear. The pickup truck sustained moderate damage while the parked vehicle took the impact and had severe damage.
Nolan was charged with second offense DUI and lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
