Photos of robbery at truck stop released

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Laurel County Sheriff John Root and staff are searching for suspect(s) involved in the attempted armed robbery of Love's Truck Stop in southern Laurel County on Thursday at 11:30 p.m.

Surveillance photos from the incident were recently released.

The suspect fled the scene after employees were alerted to his robbery  attempt.

Anyone with any information on this suspect or the attempted robbery is asked to contact the Laurel County Sheriff's Office at 606-864-6600, or at 606-878-7000. Callers can remain anonymous.

Detective Charlie Loomis is continuing the investigation.
