A Barbourville woman who admitted to overseeing and cleaning the equipment used by her co-defendants to manufacture methamphetamine is facing up to 40 years in prison after pleading guilty Thursday in U.S. District Court in London.
Sandy Mills, 23, pleaded guilty to her part in the conspiracy, which began in 2007, leading to the production of between 50 and 100 grams of methamphetamine.
Following an investigation by Drug Enforcement Administration, Mills was arrested on Sept. 11. Officials said at the time of her arrest, Mills had a quantity of pseudoephedrine in her possession.
Mills will return to court on Sept. 3 for formal sentencing before U.S. District Court Judge Gregory VanTatenhove
