Tip leads deputies to Lily meth lab






Laurel County Sheriff’s deputies responding to a tip of a meth lab in Lily, arrested three people after finding a working lab.

According to Sheriff Fred Yaden, the tip was called in to Laurel Dispatch Wednesday. Sgt. Josh Gaylor and deputies James Sizemore and Jason Back found the lab in a wooded area near Rita Lane.

Freddie Farmer Jr., 28, Brittany Morris, 18, and Gregory Bateman, 22, were each arrested on a charge of manufacturing methamphetamine.

Yaden said Morris and Farmer were also arrested on unrelated warrants.
