A Lily man pleaded guilty Wednesday to spying on a woman showering at Holly Bay Campground.
Thomas, Tucker, 18, is to serve 60 days in the Laurel County Detention Center on one misdemeanor count of voyeurism. He was also fined $250 and must pay $164 in court scosts.
Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputy Rob Mitchell was called to the campground about 10:30 p.m. July 15, when two women reported seeing a man inside the women’s shower house. Mitchell said he found Tucker hiding in a bathroom stall inside the shower house.
“(Tucker) stated that he entered the female shower house with the intention of viewing females taking showers,” Mitchell wrote in the arrest report. “(Tucker) stated that he did, in fact, watch one woman taking a shower and observed her breasts.”
Under Kentucky law a person is guilty of voyeurism if the person placed him- or herself in a position where they may use the unaided eye to view the sexual conduct, genitals or nipple of the female breast of another person without that person’s consent, where a reasonable person would expect privacy.
