KSP arrest 26 in drug roundup

13-month investigation will bring more arrests

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — On Fri., March 23, the Kentucky State Police, Post 11, in London served arrest warrants on 26 men and women in Laurel County.

 TFC Don Trosper, public affairs officer, said the warrants were issued as a result of a 13-month investigation into illegal drug activity.

 Those arrested included:

 • David Hamilton, 43, of East Bernstadt, second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, two counts; persistent felony offender, one count

• Janice McWhorter, 60, of East Bernstadt, second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, three counts

• Tiffany Wicker, 23, of Corbin, second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, one count; possession of Napthylprovalerone, two counts

 • Geraldine Lynch, 57, of Corbin, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, four counts; second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, four counts

 • Clifton Tuttle, 30, of Corbin, second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, four counts

 • William Robert “Bobby” Mayes Jr., 22, of Corbin, first-degree trafficking a controlled substance, two counts

 • Jennifer Mills, 26, of Corbin, second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, three counts

 • Ruth Lynch, 76, of London,  first-degree trafficking a controlled substance, three counts; second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, two counts

 • Gary Maggard, 56, of Corbin,  second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, one count

 • April Rookstool, 33, of Corbin, second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, three counts in Whitley County

 • Judi J. Proffitt, 37, of Corbin, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, one count; second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, two counts

 • Timothy Lynch, 42, of London, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, two counts; second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, two counts; persistent felony offender, one count

 • Thorold “TJ” Johnson, 20, of Corbin, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, three counts

 • Kenneth R. Hoskins, 52, of London, second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, three counts

 • Eddie R. Parker, 49, of London, second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, three counts

 • Hazel Shroyer, 66, of London, second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, three counts

 • Samantha Caffrey, 22, of Corbin, second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, one count

• Stanley Harris, 62, of Corbin, second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, three counts

 • George T. Griffey, 28, of Corbin, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, one count

• Carol Caffrey, 46, of Corbin, second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, two counts

• Michael Rednour, 23, of Corbin, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, one count; second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, one count; and  being a second-degree persistent felony offender, one count

 • Amy Proffitt, 34, of Corbin, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, three counts

• Brandy Bass, 32, of Corbin, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, one count

• Joe Boswell, 34, of Corbin, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, three counts; second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, one count

• Bobbi Breeding, 39, of Corbin, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, three counts; and second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, one count

• Sylvester Henson, 61, of Corbin, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, two counts;  second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, six counts; and being a second-degree persistent felony offender, one count

 Additional arrests are expected.

 KSP Post 11 London Detective Don Sivils and Senior Trooper Chris Roberts are the lead investigators and were assisted in Friday’s arrests by officers from the Kentucky State Police Post 11, the Kentucky State Police K-9 section, the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office, the Williamsburg Police Department, the Laurel County Detention Center, and Laurel County Constable Denver May.
