LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
Laurel County Sheriff John Root said a 90-day intensive focus on drug trafficking in Laurel County Thursday ended with a roundup of 58 accused drug traffickers.
With addresses ranging from Williamsburg to East Bernstadt, persons selling illegal drugs from marijuana to methamphetamine were rounded up and transported to the Laurel Sheriff’s Office on drug trafficking and manufacturing charges.
Those arrested Thursday included:
• Robert Neal, 46, Sycamore Street, Williamsburg, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance
• Kevin Lawson of Sibert Lane, London, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense
• Ruby Lawson of Sibert Lane, London, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense
• Jeremiah Moore, Seeley Road, London, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense, methamphetamine, and manufacturing methamphetamine, first offense
• Jason Moore, Seeley Road, London, trafficking in marijuana under 8 ounces, first offense
• Shawna Moore, North Ky. 830, Corbin, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense
• Jimmy Gilbert, Palmer Street, Corbin, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense
• Tammy Creech, Rudder Street, London, second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense
• Ronnie Ratliff, Slate Lick Road, London, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense; first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine), second offense
• Casey Brock, Park Street, Corbin, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense, two counts
• Elizabeth Lowe, Park Street, Corbin, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense

• Dudley Wagers, Bridgestone Road, London, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, second offense
• Brandon Smith, Parkhill Road, Corbin, first-degree trafficking a controlled substance, first offense, two counts
• Mark Alexander, Seeley Road, London, manufacturing methamphetamine, first offense
• Johanna McCormick, Wildcat Road, London, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense
• James Schueler, Ky. 909, London, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense
• Cora Collinsworth, Ky. 909, London, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense; second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense
• Christopher Smallwood, Lon Chadwell Street, Corbin, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense
“Operation Spring Sting” began January 1 by detectives of the Sheriff’s Office and over its course resulted in seizure of more than $40,000 in cash and vehicles.
Two vehicles were seized by the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office during the roundup Thursday — a red Tahoe found on Mae Sibert Lane, four miles east of London, and a black Lexus seized on Laurel Whitley Road, eight miles south of London.
Four teams of Laurel County deputies, assisted by the Kentucky State Police, London Police Officers, and the U.S. Marshal Service, assisted in the arrests.
