Women arrested for taking pills, cash after man dies

(Continued)

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —

Both women were arraigned in Laurel District Court on Monday, with both being held on a $2,500 cash bond. In addition, Vanover was ordered to pay a $243 fine for failing to appear in court on a prior charge. Both women are set for a preliminary hearing in Laurel District Court on October 1.

The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a death investigation stemming from the incident. The results of a toxicology report are pending.
