Contest abound at 23rd annual WCF

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Double Corn Hole Tourney

Saturday, 11 a.m.

Laurel County Fairgrounds

Sign-ups will begin at 11 a.m., tournament will start at noon.

$20 entry fee per team. First place, $300; second place, $150; third place, $75.

Fundraiser for Bombers Coach pitch baseball traveling team.

Horizon Volleyball Tournament

Horizon Volleyball Tournament will be held Friday and Saturday. Pool play will begin Friday evening and continue Saturday morning.

Following pool play, teams will be seeded and tournament play will take place Saturday afternoon and evening.

The games will be played at Mill Street Park just west of the festival area.

Teams will consist of six players, both men and women. Each team must have two women on the court at all times. USA volleyball rules apply.

The entry fee is $60 for all divisions. Team Captains will meet Friday, Sept. 23.
