Patrick Wayne Sizemore, who was convicted of manufacturing methamphetamine for the second time Aug. 13, was sentenced to 50 years in prison.
Sizemore, 52, appeared in Laurel Circuit Court Friday where Judge John Knox Mills handed down the sentence.
Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney Michael Pratt said Sizemore was on parole from a 15-year prison sentence he received in 2004 for manufacturing methamphetamine was arrested in February after Kentucky State Police executed a search warrant on his home.
Inside police found chemicals and equipment used in the manufacture of methamphetamine including pseudoephedrine and coffee filters with traces of methamphetamine on them.
Pratt said the 50-year sentence will run consecutively to the remainder of the 15-year sentence, meaning Sizemore must finish serving the 15-year sentence before he will begin serving the 50-year sentence.
