Three accused of running meth lab





Kentucky State Police found two active methamphetamine labs in a camper in Lily and arrested three people on meth manufacturing charges Saturday.

Trooper First Class Don Sivils, Trooper Mike King and Trooper Chris Roberts responded to a tip of an active meth lab in a camper on U.S. 25 about 11 p.m.

Inside the camper, the troopers found two active meth labs and 4 to 5 grams of finished methamphetamine, along with methamphetamine precursors, marijuana and other prescription medication.

Brian R. Bernardo, 26, of London, was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and third-degree possession of a controlled substance.

Stacie L. Bernardo, 25, of London, was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, first-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana

Melissa L. Mink, 24, of Corbin, was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, first-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.

Officials from the Laurel County Department of Public Safety were called to the scene to secure the meth labs.
