Azbill reappointed to council





London attorney Randy Azbill was reappointed to the Kentucky Consumer Protection Advisory Council Oct. 30 by Gov. Steve Beshear. His term will expire Sept. 8, 2012.

The council, which is chaired by Attorney General Jack Conway and composed of 15 members from across the commonwealth of Kentucky, advises the state on consumer protection issues from fraud to banking to lemon laws to cyber safety to housing to scams.

Azbill is a graduate of the University of Kentucky, where he was a basketball manager for the Kentucky Wildcats men’s basketball team, and a graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Law. Azbill also served as director for the Kentucky Department of Insurance in 2007 and 2008.

Azbill maintains an office on Jackson Street in London. He is the son of the late Ruth and Bill Azbill of London.
