Crews responded Thursday morning to a wreck involving a school bus and one other vehicle.
The accident occurred just after 8 a.m. at KY 1006 and Sublimity School Road, about one block west of Sublimity School.
The 11 children on the bus were being taken to area hospitals. The students were from Hunter Hills Elementary School who were on their way to First Baptist Church for a musical program.
The driver of the other vehicle, a Mercury Mountaineer, was “alert and oriented” but had injuries to his left side, including “an obvious fracture of the left arm.” He was taken to the hospital and then flown to the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
No other details were available at press time.
